Eduardo Mendoza Estudió un año en una escuela de las monjas de Nuestra Señora de Loreto, otro en las Mercedarias y, finalmente, a partir de 1950, en el colegio de los Hermanos Maristas.
Tras licenciarse en Derecho en 1965, viaja por Europa y un año después consigue una beca en Londres. A su regreso en 1967 ejerce la abogacía.
Desde 1973 y hasta 1982 Eduardo Mendoza reside en Nueva Yorktrabajando como traductor de Naciones Unidas.
Francisco Gómez de Quevedo Villegas y Santibáñez Cevallos, nació el 14 de septiembre de 1580 en Madrid i murióel 8 de septiembre de 1645 en Cuidad Real, conocido como Francisco de Quevedo, fue un escritor español del Siglo de Oro.
Se trata de uno de los autores más destacados de la historia de la literatura española, conocido especialmente por su obra poética, aunque también escribió narrativa, teatro y diversos opúsculos filosóficos, políticos, morales, ascéticos, humanísticos e históricos.

In the year 1588, William moved to London whit his wife with the intenion of becoming an actor and writer.
